Speakers:
-Kim Moran, NBCT, M. Ed. started her path into the world of public education over 20 years ago. Her work in Early Childhood Education fostered a love of authentic inclusive practices. Kim spent time working with the non-profit sector, serving at-risk youth with a focus on social-emotional education. She became a part of the Amphitheater School District in Tucson, Arizona as a Cross-Categorical Primary Teacher for ten years. During those ten years, she was utilized as the model/mentor teacher in special education for the district. The decade spent in that role ignited her passion for personalized visual learning and supports. Kim achieved National Board certification as an Exceptional Needs Specialist prior to joining the adjunct faculty for the University of Arizona, College of Education Online. Kim is a proud NAU graduate for both her undergrad and master’s degrees. Currently, Kim is the Special Education District Coordinator for Amphitheater School District after serving the past four years as their Curriculum and Instructional Support Specialist for Special Education. Kim is a mom of two remarkable children, an eleven-year-old daughter, nine-year-old son, & two dog children. She has had an absolute blast being married for almost twenty-five years and loves spending time with family & friends, dining out @ local joints (She is a major FOODIE) running, hiking, camping, stargazing & traveling.
-Rob Wolf, M.ED. has been a public educator for 18 years, splitting his time as both a general and special education teacher. His passion for working in both areas has refined his belief in inclusive practices and a focus on meaningful and purposeful co-teach practices. As an Amphitheater School District Employee in Tucson, AZ, Rob has worked in the role of Inclusion Specialist and fostered productive relationships between general education teachers and special educators to meet the needs of students in their Least Restrictive Environments promoting access and inclusion practices. Rob is a Rodel Aspiring Principal and has presented at many state conferences. He is currently the Assistant Director of Student Services in the Amphitheater School District supporting special education programming, school social workers, speech therapist, occupational therapists, and physical therapists as well as Individual Education Plan compliance and 504 documents. He also serves as the principal of the Rillito Center, a school for students with severe and profound disabilities. Rob loves all things music, spending time with his three amazing children and wife, who is also an educator.
